I love cheese.
I have been teaching third grade since 2003 and I love it! I also love gardening, reading, camping, scrapbooking, and spending time with my family. Jaelynne is my oldest daughter. She is four and Camryn, my youngest daughter, is almost two. You may also hear me call them Jaely and Camy. We also have two cats in our family.
Some of my favorite children's authors are Kate DiCamillo, Eric Carle, Shel Silverstein, Mark Ludy, Kevin Kammeraad, Blue Balliett, and Doreen Cronin.
I enjoy writing and my daughters and students give me a lot to write about! From silly poems and songs to serious narratives and stories, life is full of writing opportunities, if you watch for them.
